The Shirley Police Department would like to remind residents of the drug collection box located inside the lobby of the Town Hall. In 2014, the police department received a grant allowing for the purchase of this box from NADDI (National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators). More and more adults are recognizing the need to remove these substances from the home and legally and safely turn them over to law enforcement. Law enforcement takes control of and destroys these drugs on a regular basis as part of their regular operations.
